| Right, which still handily deals with the nonexistent issue of it being a piece of shit. At worst, Arkham is a competent game. Batman people should love it. I just don't give a damn about all of the effort they put into the plot, characters, etc, and the extras that might get me to work on my skills like the incoherent challenges and the Riddler puzzles are garbage and strangely sorted. The core gameplay is fine, the upgrades are worthwhile, and the combat is pleasantly mindless in that jade's creed/fable 2 way. Stealth and quasi-stealth games have a tough time on the Creexul rating scale, although I'm assuming the perennially overrated Thief series gets a pass the way it always does.
But right now there is too much else demanding my attention, like an XBLA title and another goddamned guitar hero. |
