Saki is an anime about 14-year-old girls with big tits and pink hair loving each by Zsenitan 08/27/2009, 1:32pm PDT other, and RIICHI MAHJONG. Unlike similar contenders in the "let's revive the dying passtimes of salariimans from the 1940s" (Hikaru no Go) genre of anime, Saki starts out assuming you know nothing about the tender explorations of possibly lesbian teen girls but have an exhaustive knowledge of riichi mahjong gameplay and scoring. This is the first animes that ever forced me to consult a manual. Anyway I recommend it to people who like teen lesbians and mahjong, or who are willing to let their love for the one overshadow their dislike of the other. The animation is puzzlingly high-quality, too, maybe the silkiest and pinkest animation I've seen in a show that runs weekly. Anyway all this talk of yuri and mahjong is making me hungry. HUNGRY FOR DICK. Hopefully the new Ai No Kusabi OVAs will be as pretty as dumb ol' Saki.
