The Julie character has a job taking calls for the 9/11 relief fund so I thought that explained why her face in recent photos had aged so much, even though she wasn't the author of the book. Yes, that's how much the character in the movie resembles Dana Stevens: I assumed she had written the book, passed the credit off to her food-loving best friend, then sold the movie rights so she could give it a good review and thereby ensure its success, and the filmmakers were determined to expose this fraud through subliminal messaging and an executive producers credit. I was sure of this when the character uses Slate's blogging service to get started. It doesn't help that only zombie Dana is listed in the Wikipedia, sans photo.
