I had that mass of Deadpool comics on my drive at one point and now it's gone. I can't believe I deleted it, as I wasn't done reading it. It was funny through three issues, but not as funny as everyone made it out to be. I guess that's to be expected, and certainly it wouldn't be the first form of media to get better as it went on.
Deadpool was a great series for the first 25 issues or so. The thing is, it's not really a "funny" comic. Oh yeah, there's plenty of humor in it, but as the series goes on it gets blacker and blacker, and you realize that a big theme of the series is using laughter to hold on to one's sanity.
