I bought it too, as I was thinking about Penny Arcade's Braid reasoning, and if I would pay $10 for this game, why not $15, and should $5 go up my ass? Then I remembered that parable was about voting with your dollars to ensure more games like Braid are made. That's when I realized it was my DUTY to ensure more Battlefields are made by paying $15. Because Braid is boring as hell (BTW guys, I finally played Braid and it's boring as hell).qqqqqqqqq

Holy cow, this. The sniper rifle is now the inferior version of the M1, since the slow fire and scope blackout mean I can't correct my many many mistakes.

Still, I tooled around in the planes for all of my matches, had terrible scores and a great time. Griping about weapon balance in Battlefield is a dead horse but I sure wish weapons weren't balanced by making them less effective. It feels so shitty to have bombs with zero splash damage and tank shells that destroy houses but not infantry.

Battlefield Heroes is really what got me hyped for this, and this is getting me hyped for the PC version in September.
