The one thing I hated the most about 300 by Mischief Maker 07/07/2009, 6:11pm PDT The movie starts out with the image of a horrible old man carefully inspecting a newborn infant for the slightest birth defect at the top of a cliff overlooking a pile of baby skeletons. So okay, this movie isn't pulling any punches about the awful things the Spartans did. Then later on in the movie the Persian emmisary says something about the Spartan Queen speaking out of turn and everyone's all *GASP!* We don't treat women this way in ancient Greece! When your movie starts out with the protagonists committing infanticide to cull the untermensch, why are you worried about turning the audience off with sexism?
