I was with a co-worker waiting for some files to transfer and the subject of longetivity comes up. We talk about remarkable 80-90-100 year olds and how lifespans are longer today than, say, during the Dark Ages.
He says matter-of-factly, "It's so weird that people can only live to 100 these days, but like hundreds of years B.C. people were living to be 800 or more." |
