I bought this on your unable-to-recommendation, and it was/is pretty fun.
Civilians generate cash - if you have a big world that will never amount to anything due to not enough resources, you can crank the civilian slider all the way up to make it generate a lot more cash, at the cost of them eating all the resources until it hits zero. At which point the world is some kind of industrialess tourist resort or something, filled with people who can't do any productive work but pay a lot of taxes.
I think anyway. I played my first game guessing what the techs did from their names, since I didn't know you could zoom in really far to see what the heck they did. |
