Instead of hammering all that out and making sure that everything was cross-referenced properly, he could've just written a text game, called it "Grand Theft Auto Sucks", accepted the third-to-last prize in that year's IFComp and be done with it. He knew how to make flowcharts, so Inform couldn't be that difficult for him to figure out.
Extra wrinkle, possibly the only patent-worthy clause: activating god mode requires you to actually be god. |
