The Origins in the game title refers to your first quest, which is supposed to run about eight hours and the choices you make there will reflect further into the game. Now you and I know exactly what this is, it's a fucking MMORPG style starting area, and is probably going to effect replay as much as the romance options in these games do, which is none at all because you'll never play it again. I mean I can't believe we're this far from Candlekeep and RPG developers can't realize that just writing "you were in jail" is an endlessly more compelling origin story than anything about an Elven Martin Luther King, Jr. |
