Smooth as velvet fuck. This is the sort of approach Pepsi and Coke should have made - add really good cream soda as opposed to the 5 cents a can generic chemical cocktail variety.

Pepsi and Coke must surely be aware that high quality ingredients result in high quality beverages, and yet they persist in using inexpensive and noxious chemicals!
Why, one would almost assume that their goal was not to produce finely crafted soft drinks for the distinguishing epicure, but rather to make the greatest amount of profit possible by selling low-quality products backed with obscene amounts of mass-media promotion!
Baffling!
As I get older and wiser, my passion for rampant capitalism has weakened.
Some of my friends brew beer. They're not very good at it. I ask them, when I get a particularly shitty batch, "Why are you doing this? You're terrible at it." I later break into a wide grin, chuckle and let them think I am kidding because, hey, free beer.
You wouldn't let a person give you shitty things to drink. I'd like to see a maturation of the market. Corporations being held as responible as they would be as people. "Thanks for the Cream Soda, Pepsi. This is terrible. You're fucking terrible at this."
Well into the 21st Century it would be nice if some of the people in charge of these companies would grow the fuck up. Yes, you *can* throw garbage onto the market and it WILL sell.
The revolution will never happen and now I see a future where I have to pay a premium for creme soda, of all things, that doesn't taste like shit. |
