Even though they're setting Leslie Feist (of Calgary punk band Placebo/By Divine Right/Broken Social Scene/Peaches non-fame) up to be another singer in the chain of neo-jazz/torch-singer/crooners, I got this album and I've been listening to it on repeat for the whole afternoon. I'm recommending it for when Amon Amarth just ain't cutting it and you need to, y'know, take it down a notch.
Yes, she also appeared on the O.C., but since I've never really watched that show, I don't know what that implies. |
