Metroid Prime(s), SMGalaxy, Super Swing Golf 1&2, Boom Blox, Elebits, Wario Ware by Zsenitan 05/04/2009, 2:29am PDT I canNOT believe how little Metroid Caltropsiennes seem to play. The Wii metroid games are excellent AND they were made by Americans anyway so what's the problem here people. The controls are a little hard to get a hold of, granted, but anyone gleefully sprinting through SM:G's arbitrary perspective and dimension shifts is not allowed to complain about that. Elebits: this is a game about overturning furniture and shaking ugly little animals, anyone who doesn't like it is out of touch with their instincts. SSG1, 2; Wario; Boom Blox - I am unfairly influenced in my choice of games by having, you know, friends. The golf games are pretty and full of kawaii shoujo loli dress-up, the golf engine takes advantage of the wiimote without being completely impossible, you can play in the snow or on floating battleships, etc. In short it is all good things about golf and no bad things. Wario IS fun, fuck the haters. While most of the good jokes are blown on your initial play-through, there is still plenty of embarassing party game action to get you through at least a few hours. Boom Blox is a better Jenga game than the actual Wii Jenga game, plus there are all manner of non-Jenga block pushing, pulling, or throwing games associated. Also it has a build-a-puzzle mode for when you have already played all the included shit a few hundred times. Fulfills the Wii promise of being understandable, playable, and fun for all age groups. Mii creation is also a lot of fun. You can make a dude who has a butt for a face.
