Anyhow, yeah... rugby has all kinds of really detailed rules, and lately they've started using these Experimental Law Variations which have changed the game up again, so even if you generally know the basics it's kind of a mess sometimes. I'd stick with rugby union over rugby league; the latter has this rule that when you're tackled, you're immediately allowed to get up, sort of like American football, which automatically makes it suckier to me. But maybe that's your thing, I don't know.
