Another cool Rugby thing is that players are 'drafted' by their home teams. The province catchment is adjusted so player populations are reasonably equal. If they had that system in Basketball, Jordan would've been drafted by Charlotte and maybe the Hornets would still be there. It's a better system because people prefer cheering for players raised in their province. Kinda like how LeBron accidentally worked out in Cleveland. |
