Ok, I'm a dick. The new version is better, I think.
You're right about talking about not finishing HL2, it's faggy and pointless to go on about it. I've just been taking plenty of time over the two because I wanted them to last, but who cares? Also right on pretty much everything else, most of it I changed before you wrote your comment in response to SB (SB!!!) telling me it was more boring than him.
I disagree with you on Steam and Steve Vai. Steve Vai might be a fine guitarist, but having him do the music for a video game is dumb and distracting. And the music was way better in the original. It's exactly like the difference between the music in Matrix and in Reloaded.
Steam fucks me off because of the loss of control and because I know asshole suits are going to look at Steam and look at HL2's sales and jump to the wrong conclusion. Starforce copyprotection asspain x100. I stand by that. Also, I came back from a couple of weeks away and spent four hours downloading I don't know fucking what just to have a quick blast. The game is great, Steam sucks. Halo is great too, but the single player is sloppier than it should be. |
