Will you? I don't know. It will come down to your tolerance for its (obvious) flaws and how much you appreciate its unique approach. Here are some lazy bulletpoints:

Things to Love
-$10 on GOG*
-16 sides, each of which feels fairly distinct
-A shitload of skills, spells, and equipment to play with
-Lets you do cool and powerful things with heroes
-Even without heroes, it's a good RTS with some interesting ideas... the hook is definitely the persistent, leveling heroes though
-Campaign is good for a couple playthroughs - you move around on a world map and play preset skirmishes against the AI (no "kill the passive, dug in computer" BS) and get XP or other rewards, all for the purpose of solving some quest thing
-AI is pretty good
-Some cool interface features, like a whole slew of unit behaviors (set your flying scouts to automatically scout), auto-casting, recurring build queues (set a loop to make 2 pikemen, than 1 archer etc etc)
-There's an excellent custom campaign (Conquest Campaign, I think?) that's much more challenging and interesting than the default campaign
-Campy, extremely gay voice acting (AHHHH..... sunshine on my roots)

Things to Hate
-It turns out 40+ skills, 16 sides, 8-10 spheres of magic, and an assload of equipment is difficult to balance (though they did an OK job)
-A couple sides are poorly thought out and/or shitty (dwarfs, swarm, possibly others)
-A lot of under-the-hood knowledge or tooltip reading is required to divine the purpose and/or strengths of some units
-Leveling up a new hero can be tedious, and the temptation to turn the game into a boring grind is there
-Combat is "blobby"
-On large, high resource maps the pressure to build build build build gets ridiculous
-Lets you do cool and powerful things with heroes, sometimes with little regard to balance
-Campy, extremely gay voice acting (Pain... is my pleasure.)

Jesus Christ, I keep adding to these lists. It's only 10 dollars, go buy it.

The game's advanced diplomacy system lets you have various kinds of relationship with others,
*GOG seems to be implying that WBC3 is a dating sim/RTS hybrid. The "various kinds of relationships you can have with others" actually range from "ally" all the way down to "not-ally".
