First, the site layout is godawful. He has like 3 comics he updates very rarely, usually with just sketches or drawings. Each one is pure pablum soft cereal for infants............ and lieburrals, but perhaps the worst is a fancomic he made about Final Fantasy 11. And this guy is like almost 40 years old I think, or at least easily in his 30s, and has a history of drawing I think real comics? I don't know.
Each comic is another example of treading water in a sea of retarded sexuality (and bad poetry), mostly the same brain dead anime retardation that passes for humor. Just like QC and etc, it of course has a rabid fanbase that deifies anything this dude puts up, the comments section below each comic is always full of squealing LOLs and in awe of the "cheesecake" or whatever lame half nudity or just implied nudity. Most of the comments also address the characters directly as if they were real people. This is what anime does to your brain after enough time. Also, one of the lamest recycled jokes used is how some chick character always has her crazy thong underwear wediged by enemy monsters in front of her teammates (nothing weird about how many times that "joke" gets used right?), it's totally crazy, and then everyone in the comments below is like PLEASE LET US SEE FROM ANOTHER ANGLE HRRRRRRN AGONIZING SEXUAL FRUSTRATION. I imagine the only thing that gets Fred Perry off anymore is imagining his small fanbase of shitheads in agony over not being able to fully jizz (even the girls, who are obviously guys pretending to be girls) over his stupid drawings.
I think I actually have an older Fred Perry comic that is pure porn, but of course he probably realized he doesn't need to draw anything even remotely pornographic to huckster people in to buy up mediocre comics. I guess this guy does real comics at the same time, but why anyone would want to see them I don't know. |
