Forum Overview :: Gamerasutra :: Personally, I'm an AWP whore.
People are defending the AWP to me a lot, namely ES here and worm on AIM, so let me set the record straight and say that I love the AWP. I bought it anytime I could afford it and didn't already have a Colt. But as of 5 years ago, the last time I really played CS, "AWPwhoring" was still as common a complaint in CS:S as it was in CS 1.0, 9 years ago. Just because it's straight-up BITCHES who complain about this doesn't lessen the fact that it's a much hated weapon, and leads to entire servers where it's removed. A side note that I like to bring up anytime we discuss CS -- imagine they made a Counter-Strike 2?! Maybe for the 15th anniversary?
