Also, the NPCs do that cool Japanese NPC thing where they won't greet you when approached like they do in Western RPGs, instead they'll immediately say some small, personal, vague and irrelevant thing which they'll repeat every time you interact with them. I played it 10 years ago and I can't remember anything about the bosses or the story, but I can still remember the dumb shit the NPCs at the train station were wondering as they waited for their train.
