[/quote] He already owed me money which he was apparently going to get from this check, but I told him no. He gave me some shit about having to work on the car and using the money to pay me back for car parts and etc, and there wasn't much else I could do, aside from tell him I didn't want the money. I didn't think much about that, and I've never really seen anyone ripped off by anyone who was trying to be helpful (which I guess is part of the con), so I figured I might as well if I wanted to get my money back, which he was apparently planning on paying me back without any of this check business, but I guess that was the money he was going to use, so it all comes back to him having to do it. There wasn't much anything wrong, since I knew the guy was working on stuff, not only on my car but fixing up and doing work on the other apartments in the building. I should've told him no again anyway, which he apparently didn't want to hear, and I needed the money back, so instead I said yes, which I shouldn't have done and now it's too late.[/quote]
