Re: You got the three wolves done?

It's bad enough the wolf level has you doing this dumb aggro pulling shit (because multi-enemy combat wasn't just something that was meant to be done in this game) but on top of that there isn't any good way to kill the fuckers quickly, so it's just like three bosses in a row, for absolutely no reason other than indie fags not getting it.
I had the most fun in a challenge stage partway through that pits you against about six rabbits, with no weapons anywhere. At first I'd pick them out one at a time and kill them, and then later I came back and started fighting them all at once, which can be fun for short periods (although if you're not super-skilled at countering you might have to break up the group again--which is pretty easy to do by jumping around on the platforms--in order to finish the fight). With wolves I most often fought normally while wielding a knife, which seems to cause them gradual, non-healing damage. And yeah, fighting wolves in groups is very hard. The various one-shot kills never felt like secrets to me--the one where you just crouch and attack somebody who's already knocked down was obvious (due to my prior experimentation with attacking corpses), and the others are either really hard to do deliberately (which makes them basically random theatrical bonuses), or ineffective against wolves. Even stabbing a knocked-down enemy is tricky to do right--it's not a big easy shortcut that you were missing the whole time. The only highly reliable way I found to kill a wolf quickly is to trip him while carrying a stick, and then whip out the stick and whack him over and over (yiffing) while he's down. (The stick breaks, though, if you keep this up through multiple fights.) Look at me, I'm Mischief Maker promoting Blue Wish Resurrection! Have I converted you yet. :(
