Re: Mr. Robot

I thought Free Orion wasn't done yet.
It isn't. That's how much i love 4x. I know it's going to be great. lol
Never tried Fate. Diablo clones bore me.
They bore me too. So much so i never even finished Diablo 2. But this one has enough difference in it to be fun, try it. Only thing wrong with it is it's too short.
Larva Mortus has great music but the gameplay is crap and you know it.
I wasn't looking to give this one a throne man. But i'm not a big fan of scmups or zombie themed games and i enjoyed playing this title. Better controls would make the game easier no doubt. Anyway, just sharing.
Depths of Peril is a good game. Probably the most interesting diablo-alike ever made since it's secretly a strategy game.
...Still pretty boring lol. I know. But a great independent title.
Devastation Zone Troopers is terrible. Crap gameplay, crap artwork, crap level design, and despite the in-game advertising blurbs, crap music.
I probably shouldn't have mentioned this one, since i kind of share your opinion. I guess it was a stretch of imagination to think someone might actually feel differently towards it. lol
Never tried Magic Stones.
Not everyone's cup of tea i imagine, but i do recommend. Collectible cards games are the best thing as far as i'm concerned. They offer enough addictiveness and fun to allow for a long play, have the best replay value and, most importantly, you can play them like a game of hearts, just to kill some time whenever you feel, unlike most other games wich trap you into keeping playing.
Empires and Dungeons is unbalanced and quickly becomes tedious. Your success or failure is entirely based on whether the random number generator decides to cough up a decent weapon.
like i said, a mini-game. Not the best of it's kind, but i do think the balance issue doesn't ruin it.
Then you obviously haven't tried Break Quest.
Don't really like it. Only reasons i care for Nuclear Ball is because its 3d perspective makes the game feel real (wich no other breakout i played ever did) and it's packed with action.
I think I lasted all of five minutes in Westward's demo.
Now that you mention it, should add that i actually loved westward 1, westward 2 only played for a while. The game's economics are too tight compared to the first one, you're allways counting pennies and every time you spend them there's a chance you won't have the resources to continue playing. That detail alone ruins an otherwise excellent game.
The first rule of indie gaming is: Gametunnel is a pack of whores with terrible taste.
Lol, ok. Thanks for the advice.
