This place is too much of a pro-L4D echo chamber. Let's get some Qt3 in here!

And frankly, they don't seem all that enthusiastic about it. Both the gamespy preview and the Joystiq one point out that if you die as a survivor, there's a lot of waiting and watching in store for you. Overall, I guess I just don't see why this would be more appealing than so many other versus multiplayer games out there, aside from the Zombie setting. If it's atmosphere that the zombie setting provides, I think that the "scary factor" was much higher in a game like Aliens Vs Predator (and sequel) multiplayer, where even in multiplayer, watching an Alien crawling around, running towards me managed to scare the shit out of me.

ProStyle Hustle Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Midwest - Gamertag: Cheerful Dub Posts: 328 If I recall, it's basically Zombie mode from the AMX admin tool for CounterStrike, ported to Source with corresponding assets. Sure, you've got vomit ranged attacks and various speeds for the zombies, but the core function of team round play consisting of guns vs melee is a snoozer. As far as I'm concerned all last man standing elimination style FPS games in general are really tedious and boring; unless you get to fight amongst the losers after failing the "real" challenge, like on old public Rocket Arena servers.
