I didn't know what the fuck I was doing so I told her the lie for lack of anything better to say and because I wanted her to think I was special. I think she was impressed because she eventually took a seat and turned out to be really cool, but later, after I left, I couldn't figure out a good way of explaining to my friends (and her) why I'd lied to a (piece of shit) cleaning lady that I was an American studying for a PhD in EE without looking like a freak. So I ignored her calls and ended up fucking prostitutes instead and I still feel shitty about it. I've never told that lie since! [/quote]
