Here's what funny points don't come out of: exhaustively socially-enforced value heirarchies in which people don't dare post for fear (fags!) of being called unfunny or suckers for trolling. You know what I remember a lot of at old Caltrops? Good stuff a plenty! And lots and lots of posts self-consciously forcing the funny and reams of meta-posts criticizing people for not properly following the unwritten forum rules. And that's super gay. Funny posts and good times are never as common in reality as they are in our little nostalgic bubbles, idiot. Why would you bother remembering the boring day to day routine crap?! Funny posts and good times do not come out of people constantly berating others for not supplying them with funny posts and good times. Relax, okay? Old Zseni was really great except for the fact that she wasn't, and the same is true for just about everything else, ever. Just relax, BDR.
