This is as close to an IBM model M as you will get. If money is no object, this is where your search ends.
I don't know what an IBM model M is, and I'm pretty sure care, but the Customizer 104 looks like it will satisfy my aesthetic requirements. My goal is to enhance my FPS experience, though, not typing comfort -- I do most of my typing at work or on my laptop. This keyboard is just for my gaming rig. That Eclipse II that Creexul mentioned looks like it might be more geared towards the kind of hardcore FPSing I plan on doing from (lets say) November 18th until next summer. Neon backlighting is pretty fuckin queer though, so I'm undecided.
You describe exactly what the Eclipse II is good for. For Serious Business (typing) I use other, better, keyboards but for games it works like a motherfucker and has the least amount of useless shit. Most "gaming" keyboards come with stupid layouts and copious media/macro keys that you will never use and require drivers which will ultimately make you miserable and livid (fuck you razer for making me flash firmware on a keyboard, Logitech's "Setpoint" is the worst software ever written.). The Eclipse II does not require drivers, is heavy enough to stay put and the (useful, in my case) backlighting can be set to blue and forgotten so that your delicate sensibilities need not be offended by red and purple. The Eclipse I was better and less fruity but is now unavailable.
