Peter Molyneux's The Movies

Movie could have been better
*pushes glasses up nose* if it were more like the comic! Bullet bending faggotry and sideways guns and bullets with little rocket capsules that break off like a space shuttle are fine and gay and shit but how far did they have to dumb down a movie based on a comic? I fell asleep for the last half hour, so maybe they hid all the awesome parts there, i dunno. Also the last few pages of the movie are probably better than the one in the comic, just by being a little less stupid.

(11:57:04 AM) Juh-howh Cable: The comic book this was based on I'm sure is a mary sue because the guy worked some crappy job and his mom yelled at him.
The writer was already established and popular before Wanted, so he had a less crappy job than most of us I guess. I think this movie is going to be a lot different from the comic (note: this is a good thing - one of the villains is a shit monster and that wasn't funny back when it was in Dogma). In the comic the Fraternity is a bunch of supervillains who killed all the heroes back in the 80's and then rewrote everyone's minds so that the public doesn't even know that supervillains exist anymore. The supervillains pretty much do whatever they want (meaning, rape women and men all day every day) and then just erase our memories of it or kill us afterward. They also go to other dimensions and rob and murder and rape their way through the entire population. Wesley starts out as a doormat, then becomes one of the pillaging supervillains. The end! Good parts: * The training scenes. * Wesley killing (some of) the villains. * Wesley's dad's death. * None of the villains turn into good guys. * I think Wesley is just a perfect shot, not a bullet bender. Bad part: * The last couple of pages.
