For all the wrong reasons!
I hated the idea of Braid way before I even played it, and I still hate the idea of it. The puzzles are fair, but the difficult doesn't come from them being expertly crafted by a mental titan(as far as I remember blow was a fucking retard). It comes from 12 puzzles not being enough for you to learn the new gimmick. So eventually you're just going to hit a wall not because you can't see the solution, but because you're actually not sure how the rules of that world work in relation to the puzzle. It's really not that fun to work through these puzzles, because you're not actively solving the puzzle like in DROD or Portal, you're just stepping through what you think is the solution until you understand the mechanic a little better and then you can work on the actual solution. Even immediately recognizing the solutions isn't good enough for the game, since you still a fair amount of timing and patience for restarting. It really has only gotten difficult for me when I hit a puzzle with absolutely no frame of reference from earlier puzzles, at which point I stop playing the game and start trying to remember the rules of the world I'm in.
