My contention is that Lou Dobbs is stupid, alarmist, and his rhetoric would be very harmful to AMERICA if it wasn't so impotent. My thoughts on the Lenovo/IBM deal, since you want to know, are few: I don't care much, and neither should anyone. IBM handing down unwanted leftovers to another company for $1.25 billion is news only because it's a turning point for old timer IBM. Anyone suggesting there is valuable American technology in those ThinkPads and NetVistas is just being silly, ten times worse when you consider that Lenovo is already the number one PC maker in Asia. They're probably pretty good at making PCs by now.[/quote]
