The blinds raising was a distraction that would have worked whether or not Batman was standing there at the time, so it's not like the Joker HAD to predict that part specifically. Even though it's just another comic book blockbuster, it's not too much to ask that the main characters recognize each other in broad daylight (hence my confusion).[/quote] They establish that all the cops were looking up at the windows expecting a sniper, instead of right on the ground. The point of the fingerprint was apparently that the Joker was using these things to establish who his victims would be, which is obviously over elaborate and unlikely.[/quote]
