This was driven home to me in the first mission of Delta Forces: Blackhawk Down where you're the 50 cal gunner on a humvee fighting Somalian technicals. The mission is almost impossible, since they're also shooting machineguns at you and your humvee has EXACTLY as much armor as their Toyota Tundras or whatever. :([/quote] Yah, we don't allow any non-armored humvees outside the wire except for the initial convoys in and out of Iraq. The armored humvees are awesome though. The British are still driving around packed into totally unarmored Landrovers.[/quote]
