pick one and focus on it,
Focusing wasn't my problem. Or focusing too hard was, whatever. I maxed out my pistol, like a retard. Also maxed sniper, which is useful, and the tech skills, which is not. I played through the first part of the game and decided i didn't want the purple woman with disgusting backwards dog legs following me around. I later learned the krogan and blue cop alien share these skills but by then i was the greatest engineer on the planet.
I prefer offloading tech skills to npcs (usually either Kaidan or
No go on Kaidan. As soon as i heard Carth whining at me from (near the) pilot's chair i became very worried. I sat through all of Kotor listening to this girl moan everytime a jawa got pushed into an incenerator, Kaiden could have machine guns for fingers and have a tape deck in his chest that shoots out giant tapes that turn into the Transformers Lazerbeak and Ravage, i'm still going to have to decline.
I found biotics to be useful on most everyone
I see what you're saying but honestly, throwing a little blue cloud at someone to overheat their weapons or shoot them in the face from a mile away with instant overheat exploding shells? I'm going to stand by my decision on this one, altho when the krogan finally got Throw i learned a lesson in jealousy.
You have to beat hardcore to unlock insanity. You have to play once regular to get hardcore. =3x playthrough, right (just making sure, I know you're probably aware of that)? I'd say you're right about sticking with whatever renegade/paragon option you did originally rather than halfassing the other for your level 60 character. I did both, but I'd already botched one character so I knew exactly how I wanted to set up my new one and could spare the points.
You call me an idiot six times in three sentences and yet here i am, continuing to talk to you and not calling you a cunt even once. I know how to play the game pal, just not very well.
Hope you have a strategy guide
... i do. And i'm going to take the high road and not lie about buying it for the art book (which is neat, especially awesome are showing the final boss on the second page and the evolution of Martriarch Beniznziza's enormous freckled blue tits). I liked tooling around in the dune buggy but not so much scaling sheer mountains to where treasure should be and finding nothing, so strategy guide. Also a factor, i have a job. I'm too old to be running back and forth between the computer and 360. And i'm not so far gone as to have a laptop setup next to my game playing easy chair, next to the minifridge and magic cards and phone that never rings.
Also, you know how the unlocking works, right?
I figured it out right after that 360 needs to be plugged in head scratcher, what the hell. I did just now learn that you can only carry over ONE weapon/skill to your new character. I guess i assumed all of them would go over, which would be unbalanced but i was going to play an Arian superman character so it would have fit. Why the fuck did i waste my time throwing whatever the hell "damping" is at these fuckers for an achievement skill i would never use? Anyways, thanks for the advice that is now far, far to late to do any good. In fact, it had more of a rubbing sand in face nature to it than it did a helping hand, but i digress. At least i'm not playing through 3 sessions of a boring ass biotics guy. Have fun throwing balls of colored gas with your bright orange power glove, faggot!
