Re: Final score lowered from 9.5 to 9

I'm playing through it a second time and trying to actually beat it this time in hopes of unlocking some totally cool extra ala. ZOE2.
You pick up evil garden gnomes to unlock secret levels. The two I managed to find were in some ventilation shaft in the Asian chick illusionist level, and the zombie graveyard "boss" fight.
It's really sad how easy those super guards are to beat now that I know about that trick. Set them on fire, throw them once, then they lie there and burn to death. Sad.
This still doesn't help at the end where they start off far away and immediately start slamming you with those same rapid-firing, pinpoint accuracy rocket launchers they had in Farcry.
What really drives me insane are the aura beasts. How the hell am I supposed to get past those frigging things?
A couple of bullets will kill one, and grabbing one with telekinesis and flinging it will instantly kill it. There are two parts on that level with infinately respawning beasts though that you're not supposed to be able to get through until you accomplish some task. The first is a winding tower staircase (have to activate some transmitter to drive the beasts out), the second is a corridor later on where you have to mind control a respawning guard (every time you need to mind control someone in order to proceed they will always have a respawning guard) and have him walk through the corridor (beasts don't attack him) and have him activate a switch that temporarily drives off the beasts.
Still cool in the early game. I wish they gave you pyrokinesis sooner.
Funny, I actually had the least amount of fun with pyrokinesis out of all the combat powers. I got a shitload of laughs out of flaming cultists in Blood, but the burnings in Psi Ops were just sort of meh to me, and paled in comparison to all the sadistic telekinesis/mind control combos I thought up.
