If that was sup[posedly the "gore" that was the extent of it in the entire movie. No cool traps or kills (Saw, Se7en,etc.) and not much of anything else. No suspense, hooror, terror. Anyone here see Zodiac? Remember the the 2nd or third killing when the killer goes down to a young couple picknicking in the park? Anyway he approaches them and pulls out his gun. The young man and woman were scared and the Zodiac is creepy looking with his outfit on. Anyway the Zodiac holding his gun instructs the pretty young woman to tie her boyfriends hands behind his back. He then ties the womans hand behind her back and then ties her feet together and connect the feet tie to the hand tie as well (hogtied). He does the same to the guy. The couple is then laying side by side face down and have to turn thier heads to the side to see the Zodiac. This whole time the couple think the Zodiac is just there to rob them. After getting tied up the guy keeps telling the Zodiac "my wallets here" or "take the car keys" and even asks "was that gun even loaded?" The zodiac removes the clip, shows him, and indeed the gun was loaded. Then the Zodiac puts the gun in his holster (or wherever) and takes sevel steps back and just looks at them. Now during this the pretty girl has started literally shivering from fear and is almost weeping. Its done quite well. She is looking (sideways from on her stomach) at the Zodiac as he just stand there looking at his captives. He then slowly walks over and pulls out a 4-6 inch SLIM blade (for great stabbing) and you see the girls face turn from extreme fright to sheer terror. The Zodiac then squats down over the boyfriend and starts stabbing him in the back (remember they are both hog tied face down). Now the guy starts screaming but its done realistically each time the Zodiac stabs him he lets out a loud scream in a great syncronization: STAB/ Aghh!STAB/AGGHH! STAB/AGGGH! STAB/AGGHH! He stabs him not quickly and not really slow but at a nice brutal medium pace 4 or 5 times. When he starts stabbing th guy the girl starts screaming and you think her screams can't get any worse- WRONG. After the 4th or 5th stab to the guy the Zodiac squats over and starts stabbing the girl. Her screams turn from a terrorized panic to a terrible animal scream as the Zodiac Stabs her several times in the back pausing a second or so between each stab. Her painful, animal screams are slightly syncronized with the stickings. The Zodiac is Calm , methodical. While screaming like an animal in terrible pain she tries to roll on her back, anything to get away from the pain in her back, but he just keeps sticking her methodically with that slim knife- in the hips as she rolls, in the side, then in her stomach, SEVERAL times. She struggles to roll away but the sticks keep on coming:) Stabby, stabby, stabby :) Getting methodically stabbed with a short slim knife in and out and in and out all over your body seems a terrible way to die. The actress sure made it sound pretty bad. THAT will go in my "Favorite brutal kills" mental notebook.[/quote]
