Re: Hello, Are you 5?

For starters, you can't "Use" any of the tools you mentioned, "Can I smash the walnut with my steel pipe? With the handle of my pistol? With my shoe? " in the inventory, so based on game mechanics, you wouldn't be able to use them
Based on game mechanics that are written in stone, handed down from Moses. Maybe Konami should hire a second programmer? How dare I suggest that my character, carrying a hardware store in her pocket, can't break a walnut. In the real world, opening a walnut is a problem that lasts 5 minutes TOPS. In Silent Hill 3 I've gotta "solve" the "puzzle" that only exists in the hermetically sealed world of the Silent Hill design team's stupid design doc.
(you're being to literal, I agree it's a little ridiculous but it wasn't a pain at all).
So it's ridiculous then, glad we agreed.
Then you go on to mention how you were "on the train tracks" before and then when you went on them again you got the FMV basically telling you that you were crushed. Did you stop to think why? Doesn't look like it. That FMV fires off when you try and leave the map you're on via the train tracks (nice job figuring that out by the way).
╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪ ╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪ This amount of subway track is safe to walk on. Walk on it all day. Look around, man, the game is about exploring after all! Hey, maybe the walnut-cracking vice is here somewhere. ╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪ ╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪╪ --------------------^ WALK PAST THIS INVISIBLE TRIGGER FOR INSTANT DEATH. Because it's "off the map". Off the map?! Why did I not respect the arbitrary map? Don't EVEN get me started on the Gaza Strip or West Bank.
No really, go back to playing RE.
I did. Resident Evil 4 was fucking awesome.
I've witnessed RE4 and agree it is rather awesome. I am handing you congratulations now upon such a mellow response to my response of your review. I guess if you can't get into a game, dying because you left the designated playing area could prevent you from loading and trying again. Back to the walnut though, I'm surprised you didn't mention that it is found within a jewelry store (although the contents explain this...sort of but a walnut doesn't belong in a jewelry store).
