Re: Silent Hill 3 (PS2) (peer review of your comment)

I spent as much time reading your review of SH3 as you did playing it (okay I lied, the ratio of time I spent reading it is equal to the time you spent playing it). For starters, you can't "Use" any of the tools you mentioned, "Can I smash the walnut with my steel pipe? With the handle of my pistol? With my shoe? " in the inventory, so based on game mechanics, you wouldn't be able to use them (you're being to literal, I agree it's a little ridiculous but it wasn't a pain at all). Then you go on to mention how you were "on the train tracks" before and then when you went on them again you got the FMV basically telling you that you were crushed. Did you stop to think why? Doesn't look like it. That FMV fires off when you try and leave the map you're on via the train tracks (nice job figuring that out by the way). With your lack of time (based on what you tell us) put into the game plus your inability to A) suspend your belief, and B) figure the difference between one area and another area (even within the same map) leads me to believe you don't have the brain matter to appreciate SH as a series (I also would like to cite how you gave SH 2 a 0 and yet it is widely considered the best game in the series). No really, go back to playing RE.
---he only gave the beginning of SH2 a 0. ---It's suspension of disbelief. If you could resolve these open points and get this back to us by this time tomorrow we can still stay on schedule.
