I posted that under Jso's name because my computer was off since I was playing all night (burfday present to myself) but I know Jso agrees. People say it's like a Bioware RPG mixed with Halo and that is wrong. The combat is way more fun and satisfying than gaylo (tears of war 8.8 innovashun ratatata). The story is great unlike halo's shitty suck ass story which was fucking stupid as fuck to the point where it was annoying to be subjected to their stupid story fucking shit. The new conversation tree system is actually much improved over the plain lines of text in the previous games, because you simply choose topics, and yet sub categories of dialog are even easier to switch to and back from because they'll be "investigate" on the left side of the wheel/rose thing, and then to go back to your previous line of questioning you hit all the way right for "return," without any pretense of LET ME GO BACK TO MY PREVIOUS QUESTIONS which was always at the bottom of a list of 4 dialog options. The only thing is that it doesn't train you on how to select and use weapons and magic unless you read the instruction book. There are tutorials on tons of other things such as using the menu and walking and bloo blee bla. But you have to hold the left bumper to bring up a wheel of weapons to pick, tap the left bumper to swap a weapon and pistol back and forth, and then the right bumper is for "magic." I haven't even used any of that shit except twice for my assault rifle skill, but still I think it'll come in handy as I run into more combat. There's plenty of talking and it's as good as any other Bioware game (which is quite nice, and the story is really good). The wheel's dialog options are always "what?" and then you pick it and your character actually talks(!!!!!!) a fleshed out version of that topic. Only a couple times did I pick an option that seemed like a vague sort of telling off to have my chick get in someone's face and fuckin get all pissed, and I was like oops. But really, dialog option 3 is always the most hostile and that's mostly true for this game as well. The character creation screen is INSANELY COMPLEX. I liked customizing the shit out of my baeb, but having options (which you CAN ignore really) for nose height, width, placement, fuckin mouth jaw cheekbones eye width depth heigth length positioning, holy shit. You can make someone's eyes really really close together or really far apart so they look like a fuckin FREAK. You can make her neck really really fat. You can make someone's mouth really far away from their nose so they have like 2 inches of nasal labial folds. There are options for just a randomized or premade appearance if you don't want to fuck with any of that. Most of the options (like mouth or nose height and placement and fuckin bloo blee) I fucked with for a second but then had to try to set back to their defaults so my hot chick didn't look like a fuckin deformed CREATURE. She doesn't look too bad and has a good side (her left, quite a nice profile), but looks kind of plain sometimes or kind of odd. I made her have really sharp cheek bones and thin cheeks and such and such, I don't even remember all the things I did change. Anyway so far the game is awesome. Great story, great voice acting, great combat, great areas.
