WHY? He was a horrid self-congratulatory little man. He resembles nobody so much as RoL, and, with him, belongs to a genre of middle managers who were very funny twenty years ago and now are kings of their sudoku-playing-friends' parties, but innately realize the flatness of their accomplishment on such soft terrain. In an attempt to recapture their edgy youths, they ply their very best fart jokes and plow anyone under 30. In moist laughing teenage company they feel more at home, similar to furries with dogs.
Wait a sec, where did you get all that from Umberto's posts? He was consistently thoughtful and hilarious. I also respect him for leaving the Internet completely once he lost interest, unlike everyone else in the world who was funny for a period of time but then got too busy to bother. ICJ
