Re: Costume tips

Thanks! I didn't understand what you mean by "a ski mask that gives you an oval", but I get the gist - poke tiny holes in the mask in order to see.
Yeah, get one of these, but in thin, white fabric: <img src="http://www.wavecaps.com/images/beanies/ski_mask_1hole.JPG"> And make sure it has a long neck - then just pull it so the oval is on top of your fedora-clad head. Since you are reading this site, there is an 80% chance you are Canadian, meaning in my mind I am envious of your currency, and ski masks are in every single store you might pass going anywhere.
My plan here is to be Rorschach before the movie comes out because then 2-3 other douches might dress as Rorschach and people would think I had no creativity. Also they might do a better job. Fuck them.
With any luck, a celebrity will die young or horribly in the next few days and that will take care of a good portion of the Dress Up and Drink population. This year I am volunteering a bunch of nights, including Halloween, at the haunted house my friend is managing. My role is "guy wearing a pumpkin on his head." I get a megaphone and coveralls, so that's cool. I am not sure if it's going to be a real pumpkin or a mask, but honestly, as long as it has a compatible input jack for the 30 bottles of Mad Dog I plan on consuming during October it's fine with me. It should work out great, as I'll be on a hill and pop out over it far from punching range on the part of any of the customers. It's not that I fear confrontation, like so much Something Awful Goon or what have you, but I imagine my peripheral vision will be severely compromised by 1) the pumpkin and 2) the Mad Dog. the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey!
