I envy you. I could never do that (because of mental problems).
[quote name="Jerry Whorebach"]I once bought a "Special Edition" copy of San Andreas for PS2 that came in a cardboard box instead of a DVD case. I thought I was doing a pretty good job of handling the stress that came along with that when I wrote my review, but for the next few days it was all I could think about. One night I was lying awake at 4am thinking about those little box corners slowly turning white and disintegrating from some imagined friction with my bookshelf when I just couldn't take it anymore. I leaped out of bed, put the kettle on, and sat down with pen and paper to figure out what I was going to do. Once I had it all worked out I was too focused on my goal to go back to bed so I just watched the clock until it turned morning. Then I jogged (I don't drive, mental problems) to the nearest pawn shop and bought an official San Andreas DVD case for 50 cents. I had trouble explaining to the clerk why I just needed the case because I was so excited and was going into way too much detail about fraying cardboard and flaps not closing properly, and I guess he had trouble understanding because it was so early and he probably wasn't very smart to begin with. It all worked out in the end and I left him my cardboard box to put his discs in and laughed about it when I got out of the store, I can just imagine what that guy went through afterwards. I felt like a genie who tricks some guy into becoming a genie so the genie doesn't have to be a genie anymore -- I don't know if that's part of the official genie mythos or just something the Duck Tales writers thought of? Anyway, things were okay for awhile there, but now, I'm not so sure. What I have is a San Andreas DVD case but it isn't the San Andreas DVD case that my copy would have come in (had it come in one). So I think I'm just going to buy the GTA Trilogy for Xbox and try to forget the whole ordeal ever happened. Note: the phrase "my girlfriend" in that review should be read as "my Dreamcast."
