Dream, recounted in AIM format (of course)
INC: haha Ray saying "Doom was just a skin of Quake" in his dream INC: I love it when I realize something profound or solve a problem in a dream INC: and then later realize I thought of a Muhammed Ali/John Lennon museum -------------------------------------- INC: wow, check out my crazy dream from last night! INC: I was in some foreign country, and stumbled across a museum INC: which I guess was actually a house that John Lennon owned, and would go to, like a country home, but out of the country INC: so when you walk in, there's his bed - it's a bunk bed, both futons INC: and one of his drawings up on the wall INC: and I realize there are no guardrails, I can just go lie down on the bed, in fact it's encouraged INC: when I'm bored of that room, I go over to the next room, which is more of a traditional museum gallery space - open in the middle, with lots of exhibits along the walls INC: and then I realize lots of the exhibits have to do with Muhammed Ali INC: so much so that I get confused and wonder if it's a museum for Ali or for Lennon, who I guess is a huge fan of Ali? INC: I go back out to the first room and see Chuck Norris, sitting on a bench, trying to collect himself, obviously just finished crying INC: I'm like, "Yeah, it's powerful stuff." Fussbett: Haha, everyone's broken up by the John Lennon Ali museum INC: then go back to the Ali room INC: walking past all these exhibits, like scrapbooks filled with Ali memorabilia and even a book that I remembered hearing about written by his former trainer or something, with a famous picture at the end (which I try to flip to but never find) INC: and some guys are asking how much everything is, they can't comprehend it's not for sale INC: then I see some boxes under one of the tables, the kind used for holding comics and magazines INC: so I start flipping through those, wondering if I should buy one INC: I linger for a while on one called "Sirens on Parade," which is basically nudie shots of b-movie actresses in the 60s INC: I contemplate buying that one because the articles are written so cheesily, and I like the nostalgia of it Fussbett: SURE Fussbett: READ IT FOR THE ARTICLES INC: and then another one is a magazine all about a new Burt Reynolds movie (back when he was unknown), in which he is posed on the cover wearing a leopard-print caveman thing - you know, like Captain Caveman INC: and it's for the new movie, "Caveman Patton." Fussbett: Caveman Patton INC: and I start to develop a big Theory Fussbett: This is a pretty elaborate dream INC: my Theory is that Burt should have stayed a B-movie star, never tried to be a leading man INC: (never mind that he was the top box office star for like five years straight in the 70s) INC: then I woke up and was laughing about Caveman Patton
