Sorry, it's with Ray. :(
Michael Straw last year received a $50,000 inheritance, which he spent on computer equipment and a large plasma television screen that displayed Dungeons & Dragons and other video games, authorities said.
Sanitario666: The large plasma screen was D&D compatible. Sanitario666: It was known to sometimes display other games. Ray of Light: how can the authorities tell Ray of Light: the PLASMA signal went off down in headquarters Sanitario666: There are maybe 5 things that I like about that paragraph. Sanitario666: First, Dungeons and Dragons being blamed for something again (the story is about neglected kids), like it's 1983 and we're watching Donahue. Ray of Light: haha Sanitario666: So that's good. I hope I see a story about backwards messages in heavy metal next. Ray of Light: the implied sneering tone that describes him wasting 50k on a PC and TV Sanitario666: Yes, that's awesome. Ray of Light: HE COULD HAVE TURNED HIS LIFE AROUND Sanitario666: It's really irrelevant to everything. Without two key elements, computer equipment and a plasma TV, things might've been different... Sanitario666: But also it's a LARGE plasma TV. Take that, common man reader. Sanitario666: He's got a large plasma TV, and you probably don't, so fucking get angry. Ray of Light: The first thing he did, upon receiving this blessing, was to distance himself from fellow mankind Sanitario666: I forget my other points now, but I also like that we got to hear the backstory at all. Sanitario666: The story is about the neglected kids, but suddenly there's an inheritance and how he blew it. Ray of Light: "There are currently no laws against wasting your inheritance" Ray of Light: "But one MLP wants to change that" Sanitario666: I hope that when I fuck up and have a news story they don't say "He called trips against a full house back in May and didn't really get his life back on track..." Ray of Light: cut to comment from concerned friend Jerry Whorebach ("Unemployed") Sanitario666: "I hear he bought, nay SQUANDERED, his money on a projector. What kind of man needs to watch JAG that big?!" Sanitario666: It's good we can laugh at this paragraph, because the rest of the story is sad, with a 1-year-old's hair being matted with car urine :( Ray of Light: that is sad, unless all the one-year-olds are doing their hair that way now Ray of Light: in which case it is stupid instead Sanitario666: that would be a relief
