Qt3's Marshal Ol' Billingus "Paco" Dungsroman rides to the rescue, agin'.
Just when you think the world of cars and car-related things is safe for the women-folk (AT LAST), it turns out... it isn't. Qt3er "Balut," facing trouble, does what any dumb person would do: asks Qt3 how to solve it:
Small claims court question So one of my friends here in Vegas had her car break down and had to have it towed to a mechanic... [boring story omitted, you're welcome]...they can't get their car now without paying this fee, unless there's another course of action they can take. They're thinking they'll pay the fee if they have to, just to get their car back and get it repaired, but then take this shop to Small Claims Court to recoup the expenses involved that they never agreed upon but are being forced to pay.
They never agreed upon them. ---- lawyerly speak, which will cut right through any two-bit repair shop's "contract" defense. But anyway, this involves girls and cars and Vegas, so there's only one person who can really help out here:
Go to the repair shop with the police. They're trying to extort money out of them because they're girls and think they can push them around. I'll come, too. Fucking douchebags.
Does BDR even realize that his solution is basically confirmation of the the repair shop owner's (alleged) suspicions: that girls CAN be pushed around because they are girls? And why does everyone on Qt3 sound like a fucking 12 year old, with some bizarre construct of how the "real world" works? Do they really think the cops are going to come along to help resolve a business/customer dispute? I'd actually like to see that, just so they could ask BDR why the fuck HE'S there, too. It might go a LITTLE something... like... this: "Well, I'm sort of known as the toughest guy in town on this messageboard, you see. Especially when it comes to defending girls in automobile-related situations. It's my specialty. I'm sort of the Sheriff or Marshal of the board, really. Actually, you and me? Our jobs aren't too different." ANYDINGLE, being friends with an idiot from Qt3, the girls already called the cops, with predictable (for sane people) results:
They called the police - the police said they can't do anything because it's a civil matter.
NO REALLY? How about the National Guard?
