Most of the information that gets added to your PDA is totally useless (e.g.: descriptions of animals that don't help you kill them and the "profiles" of the stalkers around you). By combining them cleverly you can get around this. It seems as if they get better the further along you are, so maybe at some point they're totally awesome. The bonus health ones do work, but they're only useful for running through specific areas (like places that are heavily irradiated, or maybe the lightning tunnel, but I never bothered to try) because in a fight the extra damage you take will more than outweigh the health bonus.[/quote]
