I've finally found the game the Xbox 360 controller is made to play. Descent 2 in Open GL running at 1680 X 1050 at 120 FPS is pure bliss. This thing also runs Descent 1 levels, provided I'm willing to track them down and fork over the money for them. Is there any reason to buy Descent 1 if you already have Descent 2?
In my opinion, no. But I am a big fan of the guide bot, terrible at computer games and I do recall that Descent had a huge following from the beginning, so there are bound to be people out there who will tell you that you MUST go back and play the original.
