Re: mikkkro$$$$$$$sloths forced me to download their new IE7.

I had a million problems with IE 7. Luckily you can remove it w/ the Add/Remove Programs control panel and things will go back to the level of sucking that you have grown accustomed to.
IE7 is the worst Microsoft upgrade since Windows Me. They responded to the unfavorable speed comparisons between IE6 and FF by making IE7 about 10X slower at everything. For example, merely closing an IE7 window freezes all other open IE7 windows for a few seconds. The clunky, oversized toolbar is almost totally uncustomizable and can't be hidden. (Microsoft claims this is a deliberate anti-phishing feature.) I made the mistake of opening a 5 MB image in an IE7 window. A few minutes later, when I lost patience and killed the process in task manager, IE7 had eaten up an inexplicable 120 MB of RAM on top of what it was already using. Uninstall worked flawlessly, though!
