Re: Impressions

-The whole RPG element is somewhat of a hassle, but it's not so bad. It's fairly easy to level up muscles, for example. Took me about 6-7 gym sessions to max the muscle tone, stamina is harder to increase. Stamina training consists of smashing the X button very very fast for a few minutes while on the treadmill.
Proving once again that a turbo controller is essential to play any allegedly "realistic" game these days. Or straight up RPG. Or unfortunate combination thereof. Who is it that comes up with these ideas? I bet what they really want to do, rather than run over hookers and shoot cops, is HIT X FOR TWO HOURS!. I'm sure GTA SA is a minor offender relative to criminals like Morrowind, but still...
On the other hand, you can buff everything with console commands in Morrowind. I don't even think of console exploitation as cheating anymore, since there are also useful and valuable console commands like "fixme" if you get stuck in a rock (and you do) and "tcl" to turn off collision detection, so the NPC you're escorting who got stuck in a rock can also get out. Play as an unscrupulous Televanni and sell your soul to the devil for billions of gold pieces! :( except I always play as a relentlessly moral Temple-bitch witch hunter. It's like I don't even know it's a game. I can't believe I'm playing Morrowind again. I hate Morrowind. I'm gonna go pray at some shrines now.
