It woke me up also. :(
My response was to shut the hallway door (the one moom used to lock from the other side to keep us in at night when we never even went anywhere and couldn't even drive yet) so it might block the noise. It blocked none of the noise and was literally as loud as being in the same room with the dog because for some reason sound is amplified coming down that hallway so it always gives moom the mistaken impression that we are playing our loud rock music or television shows MUCH TOO LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE NEIGHBORS WILL CALL THE POLICE ON US IF SHE DOESN'T DO IT FIRST, but meanwhile in our room the volume is at completely normal levels, and if you go from our room, through the hallway, to the living room, you can almost hear the sound better there. Anyway this dog that moom got SO GOLDIE WOULD HAVE SOMEONE TO PLAY WITH (read: double the amount of shit in the driveway that moom has to bag up and throw in the garbage) is an embarrassment to itself because even when it still had its balls, it's barking sounded like a fuckin bitchon freeze, while the dog looks more like a german golden retreiving shepherd or something. Moom keeps it locked in a cage in the living room 20 hours a day because I don't think she knows how to take care of it. Just another symptom of moom syndrome (buying cans of food no one eats to enforce the illusion of prosperity, getting your kids prescribed on ritalin and then taking it yourself, being a christian or otherwise religious, replacing practical home purchases with expensive knick knacks or other things you don't need that no one gives a shit about).
