CSI is for STUPID people
Sanitario666: Speaking of quality, have you seen CSI? It's smart TV for dumb people. I'm constantly amazed with the show. Sanitario666: They just assault your intelligence from the opening credits. conflictNo: Which CSI? Sanitario666: I guess I've seen the Vegas one more. conflictNo: I've seen the Miami one because I want the blonde woman to punish me. Sanitario666: Her character on CSI Vegas is an ex-stripper (with great instincts -- lots of gut following) conflictNo: That's 70% of the entire show. Someone is like "YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE JUST YET" to the person being detained, and then they drive out to a park somewhere and find some scissors. Sanitario666: Plus the forensics team interogating the suspects which is... just... Sanitario666: Yes. They're some bad ass scientists. conflictNo: With guns. Sanitario666: You play good scientist, I play bad chemicologist. conflictNo: Did you see the Miami one about video games? Sanitario666: no conflictNo: It was probably the last one I ever want to see. conflictNo: One of the kids worked at an architecture firm, and so he stole the plans (in 3D!) and viewed them through special sunglasses while he and another kid raided the CSI evidence locker. conflictNo: Cause it was part of the "game" inspired by the game, and the kids got points by committing crimes. Sanitario666: yeah that sounds about right for CSI conflictNo: All masterminded by the guy working for the game publisher, to build hype. conflictNo: I'll just stop there. conflictNo: <a href="http://www.tv.com/csi-miami/urban-hellraisers/episode/559934/summary.html">http://www.tv.com/csi-miami/urban-hellraisers/episode/559934/summary.html</a> conflictNo: At your convenience. I'm glad the internet can help me track down CSI episodes.
Eric Delko is at the bank, following an ATM taking his debit card, when three robbers wearing ski masks rush in. Delko knows he can’t win against the three robbers but when one of them tries to rape a girl it ends in a shootout. The security tape leads them to Miami University and to the robbers next target and Horatio manages to arrest one of them. The trail leads to a videogame named “Urban Hellraisers” and when Ryan Wolfe starts playing it, it turns the similarities between the game and the actual crimes are very big. It’s up to the team to catch the robbers before they commit a crime much more serious than the last one.
Sanitario666: Haha, the CSI team has to beat the game to find out where they'll strike next. Sanitario666: I think that's the plot of Cloak and Dagger too. conflictNo: There were plenty of scenes of the young guy flipping his keyboard at how hard the game was
csi782 8.9 Urban Hellraisers This was a good episode. Delko shooting the guy at the bank was good. But the idea of kids/adults buying these video games and then going out and doing things like they are actually in the game is pathetic. While I am all for 1st amendment rights, if someone goes and gets one of these games then does something criminal in nature they should not be allowed to use this as a defense. Also, the girl being the ringleader was a shock.
conflictNo: csi782 gave it an 8.9 out of....something. 10? Sanitario666: It's open ended, like the Richter scale. There could be a CSI better than 10. Sanitario666: Haha!!! --------> <a href="http://www.tv.com/csi-miami/game-over/episode/398359/summary.html">http://www.tv.com/csi-miami/game-over/episode/398359/summary.html</a>
An extreme skateboarder and videogame tester is found dead on a half-pipe platform used to program extreme skateboarding video games. The CSIs discover that he was wearing reflective sensors when he was killed, so the motion-capture device used to produce these videogames recorded the murder as it happened, but not the murderer. Now the team delves into the highly competitive world of videogame programmers and testers to find the killer.
Sanitario666: the highly competitive world of videogame programmers and testers conflictNo: hahaha yes. conflictNo: I think I saw that one, too. Sanitario666: It's called Game Over, and the joke doesn't stop there. conflictNo: I'm sure CSI had a special instrument that let them process the motion capture. conflictNo: And someone was wearing goggles and concentrating.
